Invisible Cities (Italian: Le città invisibili) is a novel by Italian writer Italo Calvino, in which Marco Polo narrates his incredible journey to emperor Kublai Khan. Marco Polo describes many cities one of which is 'Adelma' -the city of Dead, where the faces of people long gone haunts its visitors. And this is signage for the fictitious city of Adelma.
